Contract With The Mafia Boss: Chapters 1–5

In the late evening, everyone could hear a loud slashing sound coming from the courtyard.

"Useless!" Leon yelled, and then the whip swung on the back of the servant.

What had happened made him so angry that he couldn't stop it. If he doesn't get there on time, Celine will be taken by his enemy.

Then Leon clenched his fist when he saw a flashback to a time before the event.

(FLASHBACK: The day before the event where Celine was almost taken, in the afternoon...)

"Please, Ma'am Celine, eat your lunch... "Master Leon told us to feed you on time," a servant said as she set the food tray on the table inside the room.

Celine signed and took the hand of the servant. "Can you help me get out? She begged, "Promise I'll be back before Leon gets back," with tears in her eyes.

The servant's face turned pale, and she quickly pulled her hand away. "Madam Celine, Master Leon said you can't leave the house..."

"I know, but he'll never know," Celine said. "Promise, I'll come back before Leon gets home." “Please…”

Even though she felt sorry for her, the servant tried to ignore her. "Madam, I love my job and my life, so please don't ask me to help you."

"I just wanted to visit my parents," Celine said. She hasn't been out since she married Leon . Since she made a deal with Leon, Celine has no choice but to stay in the mansion.

"Ma'am, I'm sorry, but I can't help you..." The servant answered quickly and got up to leave.

"Then don't disturb me!!! No one may enter my room until I say so!" Celine said it in a cold way.

"Yes, miss," the servant says politely, closing the door behind him.

Celine made a fist with her hand. She whispered and smiled, "Leon won't be mad if he doesn't know I left."

Celine did her plan after she changed her clothes. She cautiously left the room. She doesn't care what happens next; she just wants to get out.

Celine made sure no one could see her, and she was successful because no one saw her reach the large hill.

Maybe the servant thinks I won't leave without permission, so he or she doesn't care. As Celine opens the gate, she gives a quick grin.

But that smile quickly went away... In less than a minute, black cars pulled up, and as soon as they stopped, the people inside, who were all wearing black coats, quickly got out.

She just told herself, "Shit," as she looked at the car coming.

"Master, you've been gone for a week... "The woman must be happy to see you," Leon says as he looks out the window of the car.

He doesn't believe that, because his relationship with Celine isn't like that of most people who fall in love and get married.

Even if they don't see each other for a year, Leon is sure that Celine will never miss him.

The driver/bodyguard didn't say anything when he saw Leon's face was cold. Instead, he just kept his eyes on the road.

They got to the village where the mansion was, but when the driver/bodyguard saw what was going on in front of the gate, he turned pale.

"Master! "Cars are getting close to our port!"

Leon already knew that, and he couldn't miss the figure of a woman who had just come out of the gate.

He yelled, "Celine!"

Leon never got angry, but this time he was very angry.

"Who're you?! What do you want?!" Celine asked, shaking with fear as she looked at the man who was trying to catch her.

One of the men says, "Get her!"

When the two men grabbed Celine by the arm and pulled her into the car, she stopped.

"No! Please! Let me go!" Celine screamed as her eyes filled with tears. I had no idea what was going on or who these people were. Celine tried to fight back, but she was hit hard on both cheeks, which almost knocked her out.

The man said back, "You're too loud!" and raised his hand again to hit Celine in the stomach.

Celine closed her eyes out of fear and waited for the attack, but it never came.

"You have no right to touch my wife!"

Celine didn't even have to open her eyes to figure out who was behind the cold, authoritative voice.

"How dare you disobey me ..." When she said this, a strong, thin arm wrapped around her. The hands that were holding Celine back were taken away by force.

But Celine didn't know if she should be happy or more scared because the person who saved her was crueler and scarier.

"You're back, Leon..." As Celine opens her eyes, she speaks in a whisper.

His cold look made Celine take a breath after another.

"Looks like you are not happy to see me ... Because you don't care about me?!" Leon says something cold.

"I wanted to go there—"

But Celine stopped talking when Leon picked her up and carried her into the yard.

After everyone left, the fight kept going.

"Wait! Let me explain... I'm not running away; I just want to see my parents..." Celine gave a nervous explanation.

Leon is too angry to listen to her, though. When he got to his room, he threw Celine on the bed right away.

"I hate it most when people don't do what I say! I'll make sure you never go against what I say again!" Celine's dress was torn without any warning from Leon.

As she covered up, Celine's eyes got bigger. Leon is so angry that it makes her feel uneasy.

"Leon, could you please..." As Celine moved away, she pleaded... As she watched Leon take off his clothes, her whole body shook.

Celine tries to get out of bed, but Leon is quick. He quickly pins his naked body to her, so Celine has no choice but to stay under him.

"You are mine!" Leon said, "Those are mine!" and grabbed Celine's lips with force as his hand touched a sensitive part of her body.

Leon is bigger and stronger than Celine, so her fight is pointless... "Leon , I hate you! "I despise you!" Celine remarks. Because Leon bit her a few times, she can taste the blood in her mouth.

"You can hate me all you want, but you can't do what I say!" Leon answers and then puts his hand on Celine's breast.

Celine didn't know what to do because she had never felt anything like what Leon's tongue did. But Celine would rather die than let Leon know that Leon's touch makes her feel something.

"Don't forget that you are now my wife! So you can't escape me ... Leon Bridgerton can't be gotten away from!"

"Ah!!! Damn you! You're killing me!" Celine screams in shock when she feels pain in the middle of her body. Leon is at his best when she is around. It was her first time, and it hurt so much that she almost passed out.

Leon, on the other hand, froze on Celine's head. He didn't think she would be doing it for the first time. But he couldn't stop in the middle either. "I-I'll try to be gentle..." he whispered before starting to move again. This time, Leon moved carefully, but it still wasn't enough to make Celine feel better.

"I'll hate you forever!" Celine cried and yelled.

(END OF FLASHBACK) ----------

Leon put down the whip he was holding and signed.

Erza is now in the room with Celine, giving her medicine for her fever. After taking her without thinking, Celine passed out and got sick.

How is she doing? As soon as Leon walked into the room, he asked.

"Don't worry, it's just a common illness. Celine had a fever, so I gave her medicine to make it go down. So make sure she gets a full night's sleep," Erza says as she puts her gear back in her bag.

Leon said "yes" and sat down on the bed.

"Your wife goes through so much, so be kind next time!" Erza says something before she leaves the room.

Leon made a fist and looked at Celine, who was sleeping. Her face looked tired and was wet.

Leon knew he messed up when he thought back to what had happened earlier. Still, he got mad every time he thought about seeing her outside.

"It's all your fault..." Leon whispers to Celine as he lies down next to her. We don't know how long he will stay there. Celine in his arms is the only thing that matters.

Then Leon thinks back on the month since he married Celine.

(FLASHBACK)

"You can do anything except leave the house... Do you understand?" Leon says as he walks into the large living room.

Celine didn't answer, but instead looked around the house.

She thought her parents' house was big, but when she saw Leon's house, she couldn't say a word.

The elegant furniture goes well with the mansion's style.

Leon added, "If you don't have any questions, the servant will walk you to your room."

"Wait! About your promise ..." Celine murmured. She has a lot of doubt in her heart. She wants to get revenge for her parents, but Celine doesn't know how.

She didn't know the people who tortured her, and she didn't understand what they had to do with her family.

"You are now my wife, Celine , so anyone who hurts you will face my wrath," Leon said calmly, looking into her eyes.

"That's everything I need..." Celine said this while making a fist. Even after she killed herself, she could still remember how her father and mother looked.

"As long as you stay in this house, I promise you'll get everything you want," Before going straight to his office, Leon says.

Celine's new room was shown to her by a servant.

"Is this bedroom the main one?" Celine asked without caring. Leon and she decided that she would have her own room.

Even though they are married, Celine wants some space from them because they don't love each other. She still likes being at home.

"No, ma'am, the main bedroom is opposite this room," the servant said, pointing to the double door on the other side.

Celine couldn't say a word... She couldn't fit in the room.

She said this as she walked around the room and put things away: "It looks like I married a billionaire."

The front porch has a tea table. The library was also big, and there was a piano in a corner next to a bookshelf.

"There," he said, pointing to a door inside the room, "is where your closet is." "Tell me if you need anything else."

"Thank you ... Celine cut off the other servant when she said, "But all I want to do is rest."

Celine has never liked fancy things, even when she was young, so the beauty of the room wasn't that important to her.

The servant left the room in a polite way. Celine went out on the veranda by herself and looked at the world.

She didn't notice how big the yard was until now...

If she's not wrong, they might be a thousand meters away from the house. The other side is the same.

"Should I be scared of the man I'm married to? "Leon Drake , who are you really?" Celine made a deep sign while she spoke.

Celine gets up early the next day. Even though she doesn't love her husband, she knows what she has to do.

"Ma'am, Master Leon has been out since yesterday," the servant told Celine when she asked.

Celine ate by herself while reading the newspaper while the man was out.

"Uncle..." Celine muttered as her anger filled her lungs. When she asked for help, her uncle pulled her away and called her names. Even her parents turned into thieves and killed themselves because of it.

The phone then rang for Celine...

When Celine hears Leon's name, she answers the phone quickly. "Did you really do this?" She asked quickly.

"Hmm, yes... Everyone who hurts you will pay, I promise..." Leon laughs at the answer.

"That quick? How did you do that?"

"Fast? "I haven't done anything yet!" laughs Leon on the other side.

"Did I marry an evil spirit?" Celine said something as she held the phone tightly. Celine doesn't know what's going on in the city because she lives far away.

"You'll soon find out..." Leon laughs in response.

(END OF FLASHBACK) ----------

"Ugh..."

Leon stopped thinking about the past when he heard Celine growl.

"You need to make your body stronger. As soon as Celine opens her eyes, Leon tells her, "You're too weak, so once you're better, someone will train you."

Celine was still feeling dizzy, but when she heard Leon's voice in the distance, she forced herself to lean against the headboard of the bed.

"Why did you—"

"You're to blame! You didn't listen when I told you not to leave the yard. If you don't listen to me again, things like this will happen!" When Leon stood up, he cut off her words. It showed how strong his will was in his eyes. Leon knows he did something wrong, but he won't admit it. Celine needs to know her place.

"I hate you. Leon Drake Bridgerton, I will never forgive you!" Celine yelled while tears ran down her cheeks.

"Hate me for all I care! But you are mine, Celine White Bridgerton! And you can't escape me!" Leon declared. Celine shivered at what she saw.

"I wish I hadn't met you..." Celine said, her eyes filled with hate.

"You'd be dead if it weren't for me! I don't care if you hate me. But you can't say that I didn't give you a second chance! So it's easy for me to take it from you!" Leon's answer was a smirk.

"Leave! Get out!" Celine yelled in a rage. She picked up the table's bottom and threw it at Leon.

Her heart was broken, but her strong husband was a jerk to her. He didn't say he was sorry. Instead, he said mean things.

And Leon must have known what she thought because he didn't try to change her mind. He left the room quietly and walked right up to the counter.

"Damn it!" Leon poured himself a glass of Scotch and drank himself to death.

Celine had been married to Leon Drake for a year, but it felt like it had been just yesterday. She remembers the last scene very well, especially the day Leon saved her.

She thinks about everything as she sits in the gazebo in the middle of the garden.

(FLASHBACK)

Celine is crying and asking her uncle, "Please tell me why my parents did that." Still clear in her mind is the scene of her parents jumping off the roof of their house.

Since she moved abroad, she doesn't know anything. Celine's relatives from both clans didn't show up, so after she buried her parents, she went to her father's brother to find out what was going on.

"How dare you come to my house! Your father is a thief, and he's brought shame on the whole family," her angry uncle said to her.

Celine said, "Uncle, I know my dad would never do that." She didn't expect to hear that from his uncle because she remembered how her father helped him when he was younger.

"Then you're wrong! He already did, and what's worse, your father stole from the company where he worked. If I were you, I'd leave the city and never come back!"

When the door opened and a group of men walked in, Celine was about to answer.

"Well, well, well, it looks like you have a visitor," one man said to Celine as he looked at her.

"She is my brother's daughter..."

"Yes, I do know her. When we went to the cemetery, we saw her there,"

"Who are they, Uncle?"

"He's the guy your dad stole from!"

Celine was shocked and scared at the same time. When she looked at the men, she knew they had done bad things.

She quickly said, "Uncle, I'll talk to you later, I have to go," but a man grabbed Celine before she could leave.

The man said, "Since your father killed himself, I don't have the time to torture him, so you will take his place."

Celine yelled, "What are you doing?! Let me go! Uncle, do something!" But the person he thought would help him didn't. He didn't do anything but watch as the man pulled her up to the car.

Celine doesn't know where they are going because the man keeps beating her, which makes her lose consciousness.

Celine remembered being taken to the mansion, put in a cold room, and beaten.

Thank goodness Leon came... If he came just one minute later, she would die from the cold.

(END OF FLASHBACK)

She breathed in deeply and stretched. Celine went inside because it was getting dark.

A year went by, but Leon still held Celine prisoner in this house.

She never tried to leave because she was afraid of what happened the last time she did.

Celine didn't run out of things to do because the estate is too big, and Leon gave her access to everything, so she knows everything.

"Hmm, the new book will help me with my sleeping problem," Celine said to herself as she walked down the hall to the study room.

But as Celine got closer, she heard a Latin song. It was smooth, so it interested her.

"It's coming to the study room?" Her forehead wrinkled as she carefully opened the door.

Is that LEON? Celine put her hand over her mouth because she didn't want the man who was moving to hear her.

Is he salsa dancing by himself? Leon moves his hand up, making it look like he has a partner while doing his sexy spin.

Celine did notice something, though...

Leon's eyes are sad ... Even though they've lived together for a year, Celine has never seen him like this...

LEON looks vulnerable right now.

Celine couldn't sleep after what happened in the study room, so she left early.

"It looks like my lovely sister-in-law is thinking hard."

Celine smiled right away. "Luke, you're finally here!" she said as she gave him a hug.

Luke sat down in front of Celine and poured coffee into a cup. He said, "Well, hearing your annoying voice in the middle of the night is torture for me. Speak up, what's the problem?"

Celine asked, "The thing is... Does Leon have a girlfriend?" Luke is half Leon's brother, but Leon is very nice to him. In fact, LEON is so worried about his only brother that he never lets him join him in doing anything wrong.

Celine frowned when Luke laughed out loud. Luke says with tears in his eyes, "A lover? You're asking me if LEON was cheating on you? Are you insane?"

Luke's clear happiness made Celine frown. It seems like her question is a big joke. Celine thought, "What's so funny? Your brother is handsome, rich, and powerful. I'm sure a lot of women are crazy about him."

Luke sipped his coffee and said, "You're right. He is the dream of every woman, but he married you."

Celine did not respond ...

Luke was suspicious. "Tell me, why do you ask such a stupid question? Did you catch my brother with another woman?" But he doesn't believe...

Before she replied to Luke, Celine took a deep breath. "Last night, I saw Leon dancing alone in the study room. I could tell from his eyes that he was sad, so I thought Leon missed his lover." Celine turned away because she was embarrassed.

Luke paused with a sad smile and said, "He misses his mother. Yesterday was the day she died, and every time this day comes, Leon will lock himself in his study room and play music." "Leon loves his mother so much that he watches her dance and sometimes joins her on the dance floor."

Celine was taken aback. He has been married to Leon for a year, but he doesn't know that part of his life. If you don't try to understand your husband, how will you know? She says something to herself.

Luke said, "Like you, he also saw his mother and our father die," and he clenched his fist.

"They also killed themselves?" Celine asked in shock. She put her hand on its shaking lap to hide it.

"No, killed. That night, a group broke into the house and killed everyone except Leon. He was lucky, because even though three bullets went through his body, none of his vital organs were hurt," Luke said.

Leon replied playfully as he touched Celine's chin and pulled her closer, "If I said I want you, would you give yourself to me?"

"Stop teasing me...," Celine exclaimed."What do you want?" she stuttered, resting her hands on Leon's chest. Celine has no idea what is happening to her, but every time Leon approaches her, her heart beats faster.

Leon gave her a look and signed, "We're leaving this house," he said quietly, gently rubbing Celine's lips.

Celine raised her brows as she met Leon's gaze. (Hmm, is he up to something?) In disbelief, she mutters to herself. Celine has lived in the mansion since her marriage to Leon. She was only allowed to leave when she went to visit her parents' grave. "Would you mind telling me where we're going?"

"I have projects outside of Cambridge, so we'll move to a house near my workplace," Leon said softly, tightening his grip on Celine's body.

Celine was curious about the type of business Leon was referring to. "Do I really need to come?" she inquired. Celine didn't realize her finger had already played with Leon's chest because she was deep in thought.

"You are my wife, so you must come," Leon said before kissing her lips. The kiss was brief, but its impact on Celine was profound.

What is going on with me? My heartbeat is becoming increasingly rapid... She blushed and murmured to herself.

Leon had been gone for a long time, but Celine was still stunned. No! That can't be! Celine immediately dismisses the notion that she is in love with her husband.

They left the mansion early, as LEON stated. Celine was quiet on the road, studying her feelings for her husband. She doesn't want to admit it, but Leon enters her heart with her knowledge, and Celine is terrified. She was terrified of falling in love with her husband!

"The rules in the last house will remain the same." "You are not allowed to leave the house alone, as you were before," Leon says insensitively, his gaze fixed on the papers in his hand.

Celine frowned, but she was expecting it. "Why do I have to hide?" "I'm sure your adversary is unaware of my appearance..." she responds, looking out the window.

Leon drew Celine in closer. "I'm not seeking your opinion... "All I need is for you to follow my rule!" he yelled angrily before letting go of Celine's arm.

What's the deal with him this time? Did I make another mistake? She was perplexed by Leon's lack of interest. Celine decided to keep her mouth shut after that remark, and Leon didn't seem to mind because he didn't say anything.

The car came to a halt in front of a house the size of Leon's in Cambridge. The only distinction is that the yard is a little smaller.

"What are you doing?" "Are you going to leave?" Celine was surprised when Leon remained in the vehicle.

"I told you, I have work," Leon said before the driver shut the door.

Celine signed as she looked at the car, which quickly vanished from view. "It's all right, Celine... At the very least, you'll be at ease..." she murmured as she entered the house.

Celine and Leon have been in their new home for a week. It's also been a week since Leon returned home, which Celine was relieved about. She has time to investigate her feelings.

"It's better to sit and watch than to think of nonsense..." Celine murmured as she took up the television remote.

Leon's expression startled Celine as soon as the TV turned on. "What the hell?" she exclaimed. Celine had not expected Leon to appear on TV with a famous movie star.

"Is this the work he's talking about?" That cretin! I thought he was unique among men!" Celine screamed as she grabbed the phone and dialled Leon's number.

"Huh! You're ignoring my call now?!" Celine says, her eyes widening. It's her first call to Leon, and he has no intention of answering.

"Fine! "Do whatever you want!" Celine screamed angrily and turned on the television.

Celine was about to take a bath when Leon arrived that night. Celine is certain he is drunk based on his appearance. Perhaps he's in that superstar's arms... Celine had the idea as a result of this thought.

"It appears that your tire... "How's it going at work?" With a seductive smile, Celine approaches Leon.

"What made you call?" "Did anything happen?" Leon inquired, his brow furrowed. Leon was surprised to see Celine miscalled because he had not received a call from her during their time together.

"Why? Is it forbidden for me to call my husband?" As her hands are wrapped around Leon's neck, Celine makes a seductive remark. Celine may have had the courage to act this way due to jealousy.

"You're not going to call me out of nowhere... "Can you tell me what's wrong?" Leon replied by putting his arm around Celine's waist.

"I saw you on TV earlier and thought of calling you..." Celine confessed while removing her hand from Leon's neck, but she was stopped by Leon.

"Hmm, my wife called me after seeing me on TV with another woman... Is that correct?"Leon said sarcastically.

Celine flushes as she notices Leon's lips smirking. He's teasing me once more! Celine drew her body closer to him with this in mind. "Why? "Am I not allowed to bother you?" I try to make a funny face to hide my embarrassment.

"Celine, please don't play with me..." Leon said this while staring at her lips.

"And what will happen if I want to play?" Celine responds by rubbing her lips against Leon's lips.

Instead of responding, Leon snatched Celine by the nape of her neck and kissed her passionately. Leon has been restrained for so long, but when Celine makes the first move, he loses his cool.

Celine, too, responded with the same zeal and eagerness.

But Celine doesn't want to kiss Leon, so when she lets go of her lip, she leaves a space on their body.

"I'm sure you're tired, so go to bed and get some rest..." Celine stated. She didn't wait for Leon's response before turning around and going to the restroom.

"Not so fast, my dear wife..."

As Leon stopped the door from closing, Celine's eyes widened. 'I had a feeling! It's not good to play with my crazy husband, she thought to herself.

"It's better to sleep after a bath," Leon says as he walks into the bathroom.

"Then take a bath first-" Celine was about to finish when Leon grabbed her and leaned against the wall. "Much better if you will accompany me..."

When Celine felt the warmth of Leon's breath in her ear, she sighed. " Leon..."

"I love hearing my name in your seductive voice..." Leon muttered as his middle finger slid down to my shoulder.

Celine bit her lips to stop the moan, but it only increased Leon's lust.

"Your agitated expression turns me on..."

Leon's fingers on Celine's shoulder rose to lift her bowed face.

"I want you, Celine White Bridgerton..."

'He is speaking the truth... I can see lust in his eyes, and if I look in the mirror now, I'm sure my own do! Leon's mouth... It's very kissable...

Celine's long wait is over when Leon's lips gently brush against hers. It's so gentle... tasting every nook and cranny of the lips.

And because it was new to Celine, she didn't expect Leon to be gentle... Celine never expected such gentleness from her husband, who is a ruthless assassin and ruler of the Underworld.

"Undress me..." Leon said this in between kisses.

Celine's hands rose, hypnotized by the kiss, and unbuttoned Leon's long sleeves.

It didn't stop there... Celine rubs her finger across his bare chest, the source of Leon's mental breakdown.

The gentle kiss was impulsive and inquisitive, and Celine responded in kind.

Leon's hands on Celine's chin began to move down her neck... until they came to rest on the robe strap.

"Ahh ..." When Leon's tongue explodes inside Celine's mouth, his hand lines every inch of her curve.

But when Leon touched Celine's scar, she was stunned and trembled... The lust that had engulfed her vanished at that moment...

No! I can't stay in the past! That is no longer the case! Celine reminded herself that the torture she endured at the hands of the people who kidnapped her is difficult to forget.

She tries to forget about it and concentrate on Leon's kiss and touch, but she doesn't expect him to stop.

Leon signed as he kissed Celine on the cheek. It almost kills him to stop, but if he continues, he will kill himself.

Leon came to a halt when he sensed Celine's shiver.

Celine was perplexed when Leon turned her around and turned on the shower.

Leon removed Celine's robe, exposing the scar to him. He rubs and kisses it gently.

"Doesn't it still hurt?" Leon's voice was soft. He had previously asked Erza to find a way to remove it, but Celine refused to show her body to anyone.

"It heals..." Celine replied softly. The wound has long healed, but the scars it left on her life are still visible. The scar, on the other hand, will leave an indelible mark on her.

"I promise to remove this scar from your life..." Leon whispered and wrapped his arms around Celine.

Celine couldn't say anything... Leon has no idea what she is going through... They never have the opportunity to be close during the fast year... Celine isolated herself from him, so they never got to know each other...

It was the start of a new chapter in Leon and Celine's lives. The latter has become more vocal about her emotions.

But, because Leon is preoccupied with his duties as a mafia boss and CEO, Celine is forced to speak with Luke on occasion.

Luke is the only person with a clean background, so he is the only normal person in Leon's life, according to Celine.

"Luke, I'm bored..." Celine said once while on the phone.

"Ha, ha, ha!" I didn't expect to hear that from you!" Luke responds sarcastically.

"Huh, I was expecting Leon to ask me out, but he never did!" Your brother is too preoccupied with work and possibly drinking with another superstar!" Celine is inevitably envious as a result of the online news. But because she couldn't tell Leon, she simply complained to Luke.

"Come on, we both know my brother... He will never cheat on you..." Luke laughs in response. "And the solution to your boring life is very simple... "How about you ask Leon?" He teasingly added.

Celine was taken aback because she hadn't asked Leon since then. Celine turned around and saw the man who had been the subject of their conversation. "Luke, I'll call you later... goodbye." She didn't bother waiting for his response.

"You're early..." Celine inquired when Leon approached her.

"Who's that?" Instead of responding, Celine Leon inquired. Despite the fact that he already knows who is on the other end of the line.

"Oh, it's Luke..." Celine said. "Are you preoccupied? "May I speak with you for a moment?"

"What is it?" Leon asked as he walked into his office, turning to hide his annoyance.

Celine was nervously following Leon. "With the holiday approaching, we can—"

"I don't celebrate holidays..." Leon cut Celine off in the middle of her sentence.

Celine's smile vanished instantly, replaced by sadness. She assumed Leon would agree because their relationship had changed, but she was mistaken.

"Are you willing to make some exceptions this year?" I've been missing my family and the activities we've been doing lately..." Celine says with tears in her eyes.

Leon locks his gaze on Celine. He came home because he missed her so much, but when he saw Celine laughing while talking to Luke on the phone, he became enraged.

Leon has never been jealous in his life... until now! The worst part is with his brother! "Please..." Celine begged.

Leon signed, "Let me think about it..." Leon's cold and hard heart softened when he saw Celine's cat-eye pleading with him.

Celine couldn't keep from embracing Leon. "Thank you..." she says softly as she kisses him on the cheek.
