Chapter 1

Chapter 1 Dark mind

There was always a dark side to being an innocent girl, the trait of desiring something forbidden. Falling for a dangerous man who would make anyone kneel before him and call him SIR. She had a weakness for him and ached for his touch, a longing for his kisses which aroused unimaginable lust. He was just something, she couldn't resist. His twisted dark side made her beg for his attention, his aggressiveness which frightened her

HE WAS A DEVIL, SEEKING HELL

Olivia was struggling to keep still. Her head was throbbing painfully as if she had been slammed against the wall repeatedly. She attempted to move her arms. Kicking her legs however she couldn't. Her body was freezing, her teeth chattering without her permission.

"H-help me" she stuttered, her lips chapped up. She didn't know what was happening to her, where she was and why she was restrained

W-where… am I?" Her voice was low and hoarse barely heard even talking took a lot out of her. Who dared put her in such a cold place? She didn't think she could last a minute longer. Especially when she was naked, with nothing covering her. The bed was soft yet the coldness made it impossible for her to feel comfortable.

Soon she heard the creak opening of the door and then footsteps. Fear washed over her causing goosebumps to crawl on her skin like a thousand ants eating away her flesh

"W… who are you?" she stammered nervously, regaining control of her voice. There was silence in the room, the scary kind which gave her goosebumps. Olivia tried shifting away. Her legs and hands were tied to the bed. How did this happen? Soon there were some movements. Someone sat on the bed

"Help me…I-it's cold in here", if she didn't leave then she would die. Soon. She felt a pair of hands on her. Her body tingled. A finger trailed down her inner thighs and it was warm. Such warmness even from something small

"Who are you…get me out now or else" she snapped, doing everything she could to ignore the cold engulfing her. Her body was in agony

"Who else what?" she heard a deep male voice. It sounded familiar, however, she didn't think she had heard it before. It was a man. Which meant she had been kidnapped by a man.

"Who else, someone more powerful and lethal…will kill you!" she threatened knowing full well Pedro would find her. There was silence, the man didn't speak. Olivia was restless. She didn't want this

"Interesting." the man said sensing amusement in his tone and soon he yanked the blindfold off her face. Olivia hissed, feeling a sharp pain. With ease, her eyes flickered open. Blinking a few times to see who it was.

"You?" her eyes stung at the sight of Pedro. He was there. Gawking at her with murderous eyes. His monstrous expression had her squirming

Scanning her surroundings Olivia nearly collapsed upon seeing the room she was in. Shaking her head she didn't want this. Looking Pedro was a completely different person

"W… what is this room" she stammered the words out, swallowing hard she felt a sharp pain in her dry throat. Licking her chopped-up lips, Olivia tried to calm herself. She was exposed for goodness sake. Didn't he have any respect for her

"G-get me dressed Pedro…what's this!" she spat out angrily. Her sharp eyes fixed on him.

"What's this place?" she added when he didn't say anything. The room was scary with red dim lights, the kind which didn't seem normal. It had things she considered forbidden. There were chains to the wall. Handcuffs hanging on the walls. Some ropes

Tilting her head to the left. She saw something she didn't like.

"My special room" he replied calmly, there was no smile. His expression didn't sit well with her. the dark aura radiating from him had her shifting away to safety. But where could she run to when the devil was in front of her

"Let me out… what's all this"Olivia said, giving nothing away. Her body was almost frozen. She couldn't feel her heartbeat. Everything was numb. Pedro stared at her for a while. His eyes travelled down her body and stopped at her succulent porcelain tender breasts. The rising and falling of her chest. Olivia swore she would kill him once she was out. How dare he do this to her. She wasn't one of his toys

"One mistake made" he muttered, reaching for her. His large hand rested on her belly, and Olivia hissed at the warmth. Licking her lips she tried everything she could to keep still.

Pedro moved his hand, she felt cold. The pain continued

"There will be…a punishment" he added and cupped her inner thighs. Olivia hissed, closing her eyes automatically. Her heart thumped repeatedly. She could count the number of pulses. She struggled to keep his hand away. Pedro didn't stop. His eyes fell on her flesh. Exposed and spread for him

"Spread your legs for me, little kitten," he hissed running his stiff tongue up her inner thighs causing Olivia to whimper

"S-stop it" Olivia whispered, hating the humiliation she was suffering. Squeezing her thighs she tried hiding. He ignored her and used force to spread her legs.

Olivia's eyes shot open and met the devil's piercing gaze. What was he going to do with her?

Chapter 2

Chapter 2 The mayor

The dappled sun shone through the trees, creating mysterious shadows. The blue sky was dotted with fluffy white clouds that drifted lazily in the gentle breeze. The blazing midday sun shone relentlessly on the hikers.

The roads shimmered in the heat of the midday sun. The sunlit skyscrapers pierced the hot, blue sky. The afternoon sun bathed the buildings in its warm light. Specks of dust seemed to dance in the shaft of afternoon sunlight that slanted through the window.

"Congratulations sir...you did well... Everyone loves you"praises came Luciano's way as he addressed the many people who had come to his mansion to give congratulatory wishes for he was now elected as a mayor. After a long time of campaigning, he finally won the election and was elected as the mayor. Of course, he was proud of himself. Of having the power he had always wanted and he knew nothing and no one would get in his way

"Thanks a lot, mayor...we were looking forward to working with you" people came forward and placed beautiful flowers on his desk and Luciano just smiled as he nodded. It was good to hear many people praising him. The love he received was something he wanted since he was young. With his enemies out of the picture, he was finally victorious. All he had to do was forget the girl he once called his love

"Son, how long will you stay like this huh?"Antonia walked into Luciano's office once all the people had gone. She was worried about her son. It had been some months since he did what he promised his father. To make his enemies pay. To eliminate those who caused his family pain

"Mom I'm exhausted...please don't allow anyone in again," Luciano said lazily while getting up from his chair and adjusting his black blazer. Antonia frowned, not sure why her son wasn't celebrating his victory. Not only did he make his late father proud by eliminating the enemies. He was now a mayor. Soon he would run for a minister city and all of Mexico would know the last name, Garcia

"Okay son...but please make time to see Solange...you were supposed to take her out for goodness's sake"Antonia lashed out at her son. He was still feeling guilty and regretful about what happened to that insolent girl who thought the world was hers. Luciano didn't want to hear it or anyone to disturb him

"I'll see her some other day if you don't mind," he said more calmly when massaging his temples. His head was hurting more than anything. He didn't want to talk to anyone

"She's your fianceé...better sober up because your wedding is this weekend"Antonia reminded him of what he had to do. Luciano tilted his head to look at his mother. He was lost in words, not sure what to say to her. Just as Antonia was about to lecture Luciano more. The door to the study room flew open and there was some commotion

"Let me go...where is that murderer!" a young woman's voice rang throughout the room only for Antonia and Luciano and turned around and saw a lady dressed in blue jeans and a small strapless pink shirt. She had curly long hair and she looked furious and crazy as she fought with the security men

"How dare you do it as if you did nothing...you murder...you killed my friend!''Sydney shouted as loud as she could, fighting to get free. Antonia was taken back by the young lady's outburst hence she elegantly made her way towards the door. Her expression held pride as she stood further away from Sydney while Luciano remained by the open window

"Young lady...do you know where you are...down this look like a fish market, "Antonia asked scanning Sydney from head to toe like she was nothing. Sydney wasn't bothered as she shrugged away the two men holding her and walked up to the monsters who killed her friend

"Oh...so this is what you do huh...your good for nothing son killed my friend, "Sydney said as tears rained down her face. Her eyes were swollen from crying. Nothing hurt more than waking up to sad news

"Your friend and her family were killed, yes...but not by my son...the police found their house full of drugs, "Antonia said as she slowly walked around the naive girl before her.

Sydney was rendered speechless knowing for months that news of the well-known latter had been circulating on TV and newspaper of being drug dealers. Ignacio Altamirano was found to be a supplier of drugs.

He dealt with dangerous criminals and his wife ran a secret business where she sold girls. Their daughter was said to sell drugs to her university friends together with the son

"So now you see...those people deceived us...they were nothing but drug dealers...criminals who were supposed to rot in jail but...karma taught them a lesson, "Antonia said with utter ridicule. With disdain as she stopped right in front of Sydney who was shaking her head in denial. It was a lie. Her friend wasn't a criminal and the Altamiranos weren't killed by mafias

"Your son killed her and I'm going to prove everyone wrong... you'll pay for this mark my words"Sydney was not scared as she said with a death glare pointing her index finger at Antonia. Luciano had his eyes away but seeing his clenched hands anyone would know the images would forever haunt him

"Security!"Antonia shouted and soon the two security men rushed in "take this insolent girl out of my property!" she ordered in a threatening voice and the two men grabbed Sydney by the arms.

She screamed and yelled and cursed as they dragged her out and only when the voice faded did Antonia avert her eyes from the door and turn to Luciano.

"She's stupid...Lu don't worry no one will disturb you...I'll make sure dinner is prepared"Antonia smiled and rested her hand on Luciano's shoulders. He didn't react but kept silent. His eyes were cold and aloof with no emotions whatsoever as he watched the beginning of dusk. So blank and mysterious and held too many secrets

****

As the light drained away there was barely enough even for shadows.

Dusk came sooner than expected, the last of the sun's rays cosseted behind soft gray clouds. The street takes on the look of an old photograph, every familiar thing a shade of gray. Slowly the view faded to blackness and the night began. Whether I liked it or not the darkness came and under it, everything in this forest was hidden.

Even the stars and moon cowered behind a dense layer of cloud, giving the air that tincture I associated with the world before a storm. My ears become sharper and my mind paranoid, every snap of a twig was a predator, even if it was a fawn.

For each aroma, my brain jumps to the most fearsome thing it could be and my body prepares for flight, fright, or freeze. For the most part, I just froze, running would give my position away and I was not much of a fighter.

All I could do was wait while the blackness came and prayed that the dawn was not far behind. I sat on the damp ground, feeling the frigid water seep into my jeans. My heart could beat all it wanted, but this body wouldn't move until daylight broke through the canopy above. With hands resting in the soil and my back to an oak, I remain, waiting, breathing this hell.

"Is she awake…"I could hear the faint voice of a man. It was rather pleasant and inviting not just one but two more male voices and each differed from the other. Nothing felt right. Was I dead, was I in hell?

I couldn't move nor open my eyes which were heavy as if they had been glued together

"She's having a fit...charge"more male voices I could hear. Whatever it was had me feeling like electricity was being run throughout my body. Trembling as if I was submerged in the water.

My lungs were filled with a foreign air, not sure what to do but it felt like death was upon me. The voice faded and soon I could feel my tense body relaxing like the serene waters of the sea.

The ocean waves dragged me towards the shore and before I knew it. I could breathe. Fresh air sipped in my nostrils filling my lungs deflating and inflating

"She's stable...doctor, remove the oxygen cylinder" I heard a deep voice say. It wasn't scary but somewhat serene and confident

"Her fingers twitched...doctor I think she's awake," another one said this time it sounded like a lady. Where was I and who were they... slowly but surely I got hold of myself.

My will to live and everything I had I channeled into my energy. My eyelashes felt heavy however they flickered a few times and I found myself opening my eyes like a newborn infant.

Like a baby opening her eyes for the first time and when I did. I only saw clouds of fog before my eyes and blurry images closer to my face.

Chapter 3

Chapter 3 Different face

"W...where...am...I?"Olivia's hoarse and strained voice echoed throughout the bright room as she tried to adjust to the bright light. Her eyes burned from the lights which were blinding and unforgiving. Raising her hands which felt heavy, she reached for her eyes and rubbed them gently hoping the drowsy feeling would go away. Her head was spinning so much that's for a second she felt we if she had been drinking alcohol for so long and woke up with a deadly hangover

Her entire body ached so much that the feeling of being run over by a bus repeatedly was the only explanation she could agree on when she attempted to push herself up into a sitting position. Her body snapped so much that the sharp pain rung in her ears causing a deafening sound to affect her hearing senses

"Ahh...cough...cough..mom! Dad! Where are you?" she shouted as loud as but her throat cracked causing a sharp pain that had her coughing violently due to the dryness of her throat

"L... Lalo...help…" she called out as her eyes closed shit biting her lower lip as she fought to sit up. The bed was a little narrow with blue sheets covering her entirely. She noticed she was wearing a loose hospital light blue dress

"H…" she couldn't even finish her words when she tried to get up one more time to reach for a bottle of water she spotted on the steel table a little to the left and beside the bed but she had no control over her hands and movements hence lost balance and ended up falling hard on the hard floor, the bottle she grazed her hand on caused a massive accident and everything on the table ended up falling on her making a loud noise

"Ahh," a loud strained cry echoed in the room causing her entire body to shake from the agonizing pain.

"W...where am I?"Olivia muttered as she felt blood oozing out from her arm and her bottom lip which she had bitten hard from trying so hard. When she woke up. She was shocked to find herself in a hospital room. Everyone knew how much hospitals scared her. It was enough when she tried to stand but unfortunately, she couldn't. Her legs felt like jelly. So soft and lifeless. Fear resided in Olivia's heart as she used all her might to yank the cannula jabbed in her veins. The pain of giving her right arm caused her to yank it off forcefully and shoved it away. Blood had splashed everywhere as she tried to get away. The frightening place gazes at her with a feeling of Deja Vu. The machines beeping and the IV bags full of blood and another with water gave her chills as she scanned her surroundings. Where was she

"Ahh" Olivia tried to use all her strength to crawl away however just then the door burst open and three people in doctor attire rushed in

"Miss try to...calm down it's…" a man in a doctor's coat said in a worried rush to help her out. Two more came to her aid but she shrugged them all away. The pain was too much for her. Why couldn't she walk? She couldn't touch anything and why was her body hurting so much

"What...what have you done to me?"Olivia cried out as she struggled to get up from the cold floor. Her body was numb but despite that, she could feel the sharp pain as she tried to get up.

"Please miss it's okay...you are still unwell Kindly…" the so-called doctors tried to keep grabbing her arm but Olivia shrugged them off once again as she rested her hands on the edge of the bed and used all her strength to stand. She was helpless. Her legs were numb. She couldn't feel anything down there and it started her greatly

"Ms you can walk...please let us help you" the doctors kept yelling and attempting to help, unfortunately, Olivia shoved them all away as she crawled with all her might, unfortunately, she stopped upon seeing something. She thought it was all a dream but when she reached for the silver shiny plate which had fallen closer to her

"W...who...who am I...what is this...this is me!" she cried out as she fought to take the silver plate off the floor and brought it closer to her face. It was silver gray when she looked at herself in the mirror. She was stunned to see a completely different person. This particular person had black hair. So dark and not her rich and shiny pure golden hair and her face was completely different from hers

"It's okay...it's still you please miss," the doctor who seemed to be the only one talking to her said as he rested his hand on her shoulder but Olivia shrugged him off

"No...no...what have you done to me...this isn't me...this isn't my face!" she panicked and started throwing everything on the flow around. The bottle of medicine splashed everywhere and so did the plate in her hands. The needles and sealed syringes she scattered everything around. A nurse came forward to grab her arm but she pushed her away

She couldn't stand, she was crippled, and her face was completely different. This wasn't her

"Give her a sedative now...double it" she heard the male doctor desperately giving orders and before she could turn around and flee away from the monsters, keep her here. She wanted her parents, her little brother

"Ahh," a low hiss left her lips when she felt a small sharp pain on her arm and the flow of chilled liquid in her veins. Her vision was getting blurry, her head started spinning and before she could do anything, she collapsed on the floor and lost consciousness. The three doctors and a nurse heaved sighs of relief as they exchanged glances

"Doctor, what should we do?" the nurse asked as they fixed their eyes on the woman before them and then on the doctor in charge. The young man had his brows creased. His expression was blank as he stared at the woman then nodded

"I'll call the boss...clean this up and make sure she's comfortable... Ross... prepare a wheelchair and a set of new clothes" the doctor gave his orders and the others nodded and got to work. He exhaled silently and stormed out of the kitchen as he took his phone from his pockets and called the only man who could help

"Sacha...she's awake," he said over the phone as he walked down the empty corridors up to the elevator and pressed a button. The lady was kept in a private room away from the noise. The entire fourth floor of the hospital was emptied just for her as ordered by the boss

"What are you waiting for...bring the lady to meet...her savior" a stern deep heavy voice in a disembodied tone was heard from the doctor's phone. The male voice was dead and held no emotions. Anyone who heard it would tremble and the doctor was no different as he nodded and cut the call.

Chapter 4

Chapter 4 Mysterious savior

It was a shame someone saved my life, as much as I was expected to be happy that I was alive. But what good was being alive when my family was no more

After waking up from death, nothing was the same. My face was not the same, how did all this happen. I had nothing to live for and lying on the narrow hospital bed staring at the ceiling wasn't helping. Everything was gone. My identity. My beloved family. My little brother. I didn't want to feel this pain residing in my heart. Tears escaped my eyes without my permission. Recalling what the man I claimed to live did to me made the knot in my chest tighten…The promises he made to me. I listened and like a fool, I believed him

For two years he faked his feelings towards me..it hurt more than anything to know Luciano was only after revenge. He never valued me and everything he ever said to me was a lie

"Okay now let's see." the door suddenly opened and the doctor from earlier walked in I quickly reached for my face and wiped the tears raining down without my permission

"It's a wonderful morning, how are you Olivia? ''the blonde-haired doctor said with a smile. I didn't know who told him my name and I didn't care. Even if he was handsome with a cute baby smile and had gorgeous eyes which shone with delight each time he smiled. He wasn't so well built but refined and noble. The coat outside the brown trousers and white shirt fit his frame well. There was no exhaustion in his face which proved the man just came in to do his duties

"So you won't say anything...don't worry I'm here to discharge you...you seem to be doing well" he added as he reached for my face and pushed a few strands of hair off my face. I didn't care about doing fine because I was not. I couldn't walk, that was a challenge. I had nowhere to go and he was saying he was going to discharge me

"Olivia...I'm happy you are fine..after some much...it's good that you are finally awake" he said as he walked around. I didn't reply or pay attention to him even when he came to check my blood pressure.

"Don't worry someone will come to…" he stated as he finished up with his check including my legs when the door opened again getting my attention as I shifted my eyes to whoever had walked in and it was a woman.

"Hey Carlos...is she ready?" the lady asked as she walked in, closing the door lightly. She didn't even spare me a glance hut just stood by the wall and leaned against it

"Morning to you Ira...you are late, come on grab a wheelchair"the doctor whose name I just learned was Carlos said, arching his brows at the lady. I scanned the pretty large with big brown eyes with extremely long hair in a braid. She was wearing black leather tights stuck to her lower part showing off her wide hips and a leather jacket outside a black shirt and black ankle boots. I found her demeanor quite dark, especially her expression. The way she looked up at the doctor with disdain in her eyes

"So now I'm the babysitter...Carlos, remind me why he's doing this...I didn't sign up for this" the lady said, sounding irritated. I ignored them as they stood in a corner and started talking in whispers

"Why is he doing this huh...I'm not going to be some babysitter okay...I have more important work to do than watch some girl" the lady continued her bickering. She thought she was whispering but I heard her loud and clear. Who was she to say such things

"This is Sacha's orders...or do you want to disobey him? ''the doctor said. I could tell he was restrained to yell angrily who wouldn't get angry when the lady was being so rude. Her attitude was something else. I could tell by the change of her facial expressions that she didn't really like

"Fine but don't expect me to babysit anyone" saying so the lady pushed the doctor aside and came to the bed

"We have to blindfold her…" she said, looking at me in a loathing way

"Why should you blindfold me?"I said for the first time to the lady glared at me angrily, her expression was like she would eat me alive if she could

"Dear whatever your name is...you are about to meet your savior...the boss whom you should respect...not many get such a privilege to even breathe the same air as him," she said with a mocking smirk. I didn't care about how special her body was. He could as well as go to hell for all I cared

"That's enough...cut it out, Ira...Olivia is just recovering" the doctor came forward and said, shooting angry daggers at her. The lady scoffed and stepped aside

"It's okay Olivia...Ira and two men outside will take you to see Sacha...he's the one who rescued you"the doctor said with a comforting smile and rested his hand on my shoulder and I shrugged him off

"Look I have so much...let's just go already"Ira as the doctor called her said as he took a black cloth from the table. So much for being crippled now I had to be looked down on by some bitch girl. I hated girls like her. I didn't know where she was taking me but they blindfolded me with a black cloth. Put me in a wheelchair. I came to loathe wheelchairs more than anything. I wanted to protest unfortunately the doctor said they were taking me to see that man who saved my life

I had so much to ask, how did I survive and why was my face changed and how was it possible. It didn't make sense to me how I would survive falling off a cliff.

"Use the private exit...no one should know"I heard a man say. This one had a different voice not so familiar and in no time I was being driven down what seemed like a passageway. I didn't like this at all.

****

The so-called ride was a smooth one. Although I had no idea where they were taking me. I was glad to get out of that hospital. It didn't take time when the car stopped. If I could anticipate the time it took for us to get to our destination well I could count thirty minutes. Wherever they brought me to. I just had to meet the man who saved me and get the hell out.

"Get her out...I'll bring the wheelchair"

"Yes ma'am"

It didn't take long when Olivia was put back in the wheelchair and was being driven to who knew where. As much as she was eager to leave the hospital. She wanted to meet the man who saved her. She heard the opening of doors. Curiosity was killing her slowly. Where was she? The smell of the surroundings was quite pleasant, it was something so vibrant and break-taking that she liked it. It was a flowery one mixed with different fragrances, a little bit of dry food, smoldering and smoky which reminded her of sandalwood and cedarwood, some oriental scents of herbs and spices, or dry, powdery, resin notes. Opulent and heady, softened with amber or sweet scents which reminded me of the smell I loved whenever I visited my dad at his office. I always asked him if he loved a little lavender but my dad was more into wood scents. It was like the perfume of a male sensitive and seductive. One could actually taste the delicious scents at the tip of their tongue

"Stay here and don't remove the thing"the lady's voice snapped back to my senses of being lost in recalling the familiar scents. I didn't move or bother to remove the blindfold but I stayed there quietly fiddling with my hands. The place I was in was awfully quiet. Nothing like I loved nor wanted unfortunately I was confined in such a place and all I could do was wait for whatever was about to come my way

"Who?"I jerked back when I felt a pair of hands tug at the blindfold. Fear washed over me as that sandalwood scent intensified even more mixed with a little flowery scent of fresh-cut flowers. It was a lady's scent apparently but I didn't think so

"W...who is there?"I asked and blindly reached for the blindfold. I wasn't sure what was happening but the person's presence gave me chills and as I patted the back of my head, I stopped when I felt a pair of strong hands.

Larger than mine and muscular, fear rushed through me as my heart raced rapidly causing goosebumps to erupt on my skin crawling like a thousand fireflies dancing on my skin

"Relax princess, you are in safe hands" a low deep masculine voice muttered against my ear, his hot breath sending a shiver throughout my body, making my back hair rise just as the blindfold fell off my face.

Chapter 5

Chapter 5 Arrogant man

The man before me was everything I didn't like. From his posture and his demeanor everything I loathed. There was that one thing I found in men who thought they held too much power. The pride in their eyes to think they deserved everything that came their way was a turn-off for me

"What? Surprised...I'm just an ordinary man who...likes collecting toys" again he spoke in a deep calm voice. He wasn't trying too hard to be handsome. Even so, he was a compelling figure. He was good-looking, handsome. His dark brown hair, as thick and lustrous as mink fur, was cut in short layers. But it was the eyes that seized my attention, dark brown a volatile color you could never forget once you'd seen it...I couldn't compare him to any man in terms of looks. His aura was overbearing as he stood with the insolent, loose-jointed slouch of someone who'd rather spend his time in a pool hall. Although he was well dressed, it was obvious he didn't make his living sitting behind a desk, he was too rough and aggressive looking... The Blazer he was wearing was simple, with softer shoulders and a laidback fit with the sleeves folded to his elbows. His arms ripped with hard muscles and his movements were graceful for his height and appearance. Nothing could soften that build...big-framed and rugged... like a roughneck or a bull rider. His long fingers were clasped gently around a folded white paper which he kept playing with as if it were a toy. He was too much of an Alpha type of man and certainly not my type. I was interested in something more.

"Thank you for your help... kindly show me the door and I'll be outta here, "I told him straight and started working on how to move the wheelchair. I didn't want to be here even if he saved my life

"Ms. Altamirano, that anger shouldn't be directed at me," the man said as he fixed his sharp piercing eyes on me. His expression had dropped from a playful one to a frightening one.. nothing could beat that look. Not even Luciano. The man who toyed with my feelings...if he knew the anger burning within me then he wouldn't be provoking me like he was doing

"Show me the exit door" I murmured through clenched teeth not daring to look away from him...if he had a mission to scare me with words and his looks then he was in for something deadly. He seemed amused by my words as a sly smirk tugged at the corners of his lips and morphed into a full grin. Why was he finding this funny? Looking around the large room I realized it was an office. I had to say he wasn't so ordinary. Such well-painted brown walls. So shiny and rich looking as if the owner wanted a wooden structure. The varnishing was vibrant making it look appealing unfortunately I wasn't concerned about that

"Little one...do you think you can walk out of here...just like that?" the man said with a half-grin as he leaned down to my face. I didn't like him one bit. I hated anyone who gave me orders like he was

"How much do you want...for saving my life huh...tell me?"I said straight. He should know any better than to think he could do whatever he wanted just because he saved my life

"Hehe...how cute...how much does Pedro want...hahaha it's funny really, "the man said with a sarcastic chuckle as he muffled his mouth with his hand for a second then shifted his face to me. His eyes narrowed intensely

"Your life...my price is your life little one...do you take me for a fool,'' he remarked and moved away from the desk he was half sitting on and walked around it until he reached his chair. What did he mean by my life..no one owned my life and I didn't care if he saved me because now I had nothing to lose. Even if he let me die I wouldn't have cared

"It took me a year to revive you little princess," he said as he sat down and crossed his legs elegantly. That didn't surprise me but the mention of one year…What did he mean by one year...how was it a year no he was lying to me

"W...what...do you mean by...one year?" this was impossible, I thought it was just a few days maybe a week. I could still go and find my parents. I was certain they didn't die in that he'll fire Luciano and leave them to die. I was restless as I tried to get up. I didn't want this one bit nor did I want to be crippled

"Calm down, no need to fight it, ''he said as he flung up from his chair and rushed to keep me still. I didn't want to stay in the wheelchair but to find my little brother. My parents wanted my help why was it a year...how was it even possible that I was unconscious for a year

"L...let me go!"I shouted and shoved his hands away from me. He had no right to touch me at all

"Olivia calm down damned it!" he yelled startling me as I froze in place. My body went limp as I sat there like a corpse. My hands and body trembled as my eyes leaked non-stop. I couldn't take this anymore. I didn't want this at all the man was making things even more

"Drink this" he came back and attempted to make me drink water but I couldn't move my hands. I couldn't do anything constructive as I sat there like a vegetable

"It will take three months for you to walk again...you suffered a hard fall...your face was unrecognizable...I had to ask the doctors if...they could fix it and they did"after some time I was calm enough to listen to what he had to say. I was in a coma for a year. That was 2021 and now it was 2022 how was that possible. Fear reigned in my heart as I played with the crystal stem glass in my hands. The water was chilled but getting warm from holding it

"H...how did you find me...what about my... family"I wanted to know how he managed to save me. I fell off the cliff and it was a long way down. It was raining heavily and when

"M...my baby...my...baby is fine right" something hit me...the most important thing I forgot about and reaching for my stomach I couldn't feel anything. I fought to lift the light shirt I was wearing hoping the man would tell me I gave but unfortunately what I found were fading scars. The proof of how Luciano drove a sharp knife into my flesh mercilessly killing his child. My heart ached as I began weeping bitterly caressing my belly. I wanted to ask forgiveness from my child. He didn't even get to kick when that monster killed him

"He...he killed my child" there was nothing that could comfort me.. no amount of tears could take away the pain which was like a sharp knife driven straight to my heart killing me slowly. Being left to bleed mercilessly and Luciano.

"Why...why my face...I don't...look like this?"It was hard for me to calm down. He had no right to do anything to my face. This wasn't Olivia Altamirano

"Is that a question you can ask me...or don't you want to take revenge against the people who killed your family...the people responsible for the loss of your child?" the man said and upon hearing his words I looked up at him and found a raging monster.

He wasn't grinning like before but a full-fledged beast with a fire burning in his eyes. There was longer any playfulness in his eyes but rather a replacement of anger and disdain.
