The situation at the start

Aadhya Wakes Into Work Scheduled Before Dawn

The opening dream presents a family driven into flight by a threat it cannot negotiate with, then cuts to Aadhya waking for compulsory early work. Her waking position as an omega is concrete: she must help prepare training space for two hundred wolves before four. Reading the dream separately from Aadhya's waking duties preserves the distinction between two kinds of urgency: the imagined family's flight under threat and an omega's tightly scheduled work preparing the training ground.
